Dear Dale and Family,
Barb was the epitome of what it means to be a genuine human being; loving, kind, unequivocal acceptance of others, open-minded, generous to a fault, and sharing her gifts with others. As an English teacher she was unparalleled in her professionalism, her dedication to academic integrity, her generous collegiality, her devotion to the enlightenment and academic growth of every one of her students, her non-judgmental acceptance of every student who walked through her classroom door, and the perennial smile that shone on her face no matter the circumstances surrounding her. Even when she began teaching "part time" she was in the building, in her classroom, and as involved in her role as teacher, mentor, colleague, and friend as she was when she was full time. It was a distinct honor to have the privilege of being counted among her colleagues and friends.
You are on my mind and in my heart as you grieve her loss. My hope is that fond memories will sustain you as you adjust to life without her.
Sincerely
Paddy Inman
