Charlene BOYD Obituary

Hayden Lake - Charlene Maryann Boyd was born in Wallace, Idaho, to Mary and Wylie Gardner. She was a talented musician who played the piano and the baritone saxophone in high school and graduated from WSU with a degree in nursing. She worked in the healthcare field until the early 1970s, when Mom and Dad took a leap of faith and purchased Coeur d'Alene Service Station Equipment. This marked the beginning of their partnership and long journey to become successful business owners. Dad always said she was the glue that kept the company together. Mom had a passion for reading, music, theater, and a remarkable ability to find joy in life and uplift those around her. She is survived by her six children, Lori (Larry) Holstein, Don (Connie) Boyd, Linda (Dave) Robinson, Jon (Maree) Boyd, Paul (Sandra) Boyd, and Phil (Shelly) Boyd. Her grandchildren, Andrea, Wylie, Emily, Hannah, Rachael, Kelsy, and her step-grandchildren, Jennifer, Chris, Chet, and Erich. With admiration and gratefulness for being our mom: "Bye-bye for now, love you." Burial - Greenwood Cemetery - Kellogg on Sept. 13 at 11:00 a.m., and reception at The Brooks in Wallace - 12:30 to 3:00 p.m. Friends and acquaintances are welcome to attend.
