Dates seared in memory,
better or worse
Each time it's remembered,
no easier than the first
Time passes, pain lessens
Naively one may think
365 days again
Nope. Still stinks.
Memories are key
Less darkness swallow up
Good thoughts, don't dwell
Lean on family, chin up
Miss you every day Dad

My sincere sympathy to all family members and in particular Don. I grew up in the neighborhood, and was involved in Silver Spurs with both Dean and Don....just looked at some old dance video with both of them in it tonight from the late 1960's. The Francis boys were always so looked up to by the rest of us....Dean more-so of course as he was a bit taller! He's gone far too soon....but appears to have left a fine family legacy.

Dad, you helped give us the best childhood anyone could ask for. You were taken far too early. I miss you every moment. Thank you for being you.
