Frank TRAVO Obituary

It is with great sadness that Frank went to be with the lord on September 8th, 2023, after a short battle with cancer. Frank was born on July 29, 1957, to Joseph and Margaret Travo his surviving parents. His early life was filled with his love of motorcycles, street bikes and dirt bikes. He loved to fish and water ski and spent the time he could at the family home on Sacheen Lake. Frank was the best water skier on the lake everyone wanted to be in the boat when Frank rode the waves. He loved taking the kids in the boat down to the lily pads and hunt for turtles and frogs, and they always came back with a few in a bucket. In his later years he had many fish tanks with exotic fish and loved to garden. Through his life he's had several dogs that were special in his life. He learned the family business from his grandfather and dad at an early age and became a great cook. After the business was sold Frank went to work for a painting company and later on his own painting houses for numerous people. He is survived by his wife Barbara Travo of 33 years. Frank had 3 children Brigida Travo Smith, Joseph Travo and Emily Travo. He has 3 grandchildren. Also survived by sister Della Travo and husband James Aldrich and sister Suzanne Ressa and husband Rick Ressa, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. We will all miss him tremendously. Families request is to donate to Hospice of Spokane that took special care of Frank in his final days.

Frank was my best friend growing up and his mom was my second "mom". Played baseball, basketball, rode bikes and generally terrorized the neighborhood. Spent time with the family at their lake cabin at Twin and then Sacheen. Lots of good memories. So sorry to hear of his passing.

A loss for us all. Grew up in the neighborhood and attended St Anthony with Frank, he was one of the good guys. Only happy memories.
