Linda MADSEN Obituary

In Loving Memory

March 11, 1947 – August 9, 2025

Linda Sue Bliesner Madsen passed away on August 9, 2025. Born on March 11, 1947, in Spokane, Washington, to Alfred and Flossie Bliesner.

In 1977, Linda was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, a battle she faced with grace, strength, and without complaint. For more than 25 years, she was a resident of Sullivan Park Care Center surrounded by a loving community.

She is survived by her daughter, Kim Madsen and her son, Dale Madsen both of Spokane; her brother, Jay Bliesner of Post Falls, Idaho; sisters, Starla (Phil) Peterson of Colbert, Washington, and Cheryl (Maurice) Piersol of Medical Lake, Washington. Also surviving are cousins and extended family.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Robert Johnston.

She will be remembered as a loving, wonderful person whose warmth and humor, touched those who knew her. A private memorial will follow at a later date.
