I was blessed as blessed can be to have called you Mom. You were my safe harbor and my guiding light, and at time my disciplinarian. You taught me right from wrong and to stand up for what I believe in. I have always stood up for the underdog and I got that value from you and Dad. I notice my kids do that too.
How I wish I could hold you, laugh and share the day. Talk about all the crazy politics, watch you sing and cuddle your great grandchildren again.
I know as long as I live and breathe you will never be truly gone, for you are a part of me, and now my guardian angel. I will now just glance heavenward whenever I want to say "I love you" Knowing the next time we hug each it will be forever
Love you Mom, rest in peace
