Peggy FAUSETT Obituary

FAUSETT, Peggy May Our beloved mother, Peggy May Fausett, passed away on November 4, 2015 due to health complications. Peggy was born April 11, 1932 in Colville, Washington to Joe and Bertha O'Brien. Her siblings include Gary, Don, Ruth, Joanne, and Judy. Peggy loved music and while belonging to the Colville Christian Church played the piano for Sunday services at 12 years old. Peggy attended Colville High and graduated in 1950. In high school she played snare drums, sang in the combined, and girls' choir. She was chosen by her classmates to be a speaker for graduation and received the girls' citizenship award. She worked at the Old Mt. Carmel Hospital and also served as a mother's helper. Peggy graduated from Deaconess School of Nursing and received her RN in 1954. She met her husband Leo Fausett in Spokane during a student nursing sponsored dance, and they were married in Oak Harbor where Leo was stationed in the Naval Air Reserve on November 28, 1952. She joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in 1956 and loved her many callings including teaching positions, organist, and served a two year mission at the Spokane Employment Center. She loved her membership in the church, her Savior, and her Father in Heaven. Peggy and Leo raised six daughters, and one son. They lived on a ranch in Deer Park, Washington. She loved her family, took great joy in raising her children, and caring for her nieces and nephews. She loved gardening, cooking, canning, playing the piano, reading and sewing. She is survived by her daughters, Loretta (Dale) Keeney, Anita Diane (Dennis Chidester), Rebecca Fausett, Jean Brough (Eric), Jane Plante (Pete) ,Sharon Carline, (Darrell), 24 grandchildren, and 40 great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved and treasured.
