Robert KAUL Obituary
Our beloved father, Robert William Kaul (88), passed away of Metastatic prostate cancer on December 22, 2023.
Born in Spokane, Washington to William and Ida Kaul, he leaves behind his little sister Linda Kaul; daughters Kathleen Schettler (Mike) and Terry Kaul; grandsons: Joel Evans (Hanna) and Chris Lemley; great-grandkids: Kai, Chanelle, Alayna, Connor and Samantha.
He also leaves behind Eileen Howie his sweet love of 26 years; her daughters Nicki Teigen (Roger) and Janelle Shears, her four children and her two great-grandsons. Bob was preceded in death by his parents William and Ida Kaul, his wife Dee Ann Elizabeth Kaul; granddaughter Jamie Evans; sister Ellie Weeks; nephew Mark Weeks; mother-in-law Margaret Beckman; and
sister-in-law Pam Beckman. We can't forget his Avista-WWP Family. He retired with over 41 years of gas service and gas engineering. He loved his job and worked with amazing people. Bob was also the founder of the HVAC Association in 1955. He was so proud of being an instructor and exam giver. He worked at Northwest HVAC Association Training Center for many years where his passion for teaching was appreciated.
We all loved him dearly and will miss his lessons, stories and laughter. He enjoyed BBQ, Gardening, boating, dancing and playing Uncle Bob or Santa for Scan.
Mere words cannot express how grateful we are for our Dad who showed us how to live well, love and laugh a lot! "Blessings to All for A Wonderful Journey!"
A memorial service will be held at 1pm, on Saturday, January 27, at Riplinger Funeral Home, in Spokane, WA.

Terry and Kathy sorry to see your father passed away. I have tried to look you up in other places with no luck. I wish you both the best it is hard when we loose the ones we love. I hope you never have to go through some of the stuff I have in my life time. Hugs to both of you. You still cross my mind from sometimes.

My prayers and thoughts for Eileen and Bob's family. Bob will be missed tremendously! He has been my neighbor for the 22 years that I lived next door. We would be out mowing the yards at the same time and wave when we came close in our yards! Sometimes standing in our yards talking about everything and anything. I write this with a very heavy heart.
