MIDKIFF, Theresia Christina (Henn) Passed away peacefully on January 17, 2019 with family by her side. Christel was born May 12, 1936 in Trier, Germany where she met and married a young G.I. , Charles. Together, in Spokane and Deer Park they raised four children, Teri, Alan, Lynn and Roy, and remained together 57 years until Dad passed in 2011. Mom was an adventurous, brave woman who began as a city girl in Germany and left her entire family behind to become a farm girl raising calves in the States. She built and ran a clothing store, and became a cross-country truck driver until retiring with with Dad in 1992. Mom's faith in God, love for dad, raising upstanding children and belief in America steered her life. She will be missed by her children and their spouses, ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was admired and has inspired many. You will be missed, Mom! Services will be held at Saint Mary's Presentation Catholic Church, 602 E. 6th Street, Deer Park, WA 99006 on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., reception following in the Church Hall.
