Thomas STATE Obituary
Bend - Thomas Lester State passed away March 14, 2023, in Bend, Oregon at the age of 91. Born in Spokane, Washington, on October 5, 1931, Tom was a proud Gonzaga University alumnus ('53), Naval Academy graduate ('55), Air Force veteran, and Aerospace Engineer. He was preceded in death in 2015 by his wife, Patricia McCabe State; and is survived by his four daughters, Anne State, Laura Brown (Charles), Jennifer Leigh Elwing (Jonathan), and Laurie Rybaczyk Bergman (Jim). Tom deserves extra star fo for being surrounded by so many women all of his life, his many sisters, his four daughters, his mother-in-law, his wife´s many girlfriends that I´m one of.
He was always a gentleman and kind to all of us. May he rest in peace love, Peggy.
