Grandma,

Even though you are with God we will still miss you. I love you with all my heart. I am sad that I have not spent as much time with you as I would have liked since I got married and joined the military. I have been home for three years now and have seen you only a handful of times. When we were children your house was our refugee. I remember going to your house when I needed a break from the family. Or just to spend time with you and granpa. I remember tickling your arms by running my hand over your arm lightly, you would laugh and I would get tickled pink and do it again. I guess most of all I just remember you always being there if I needed to talk or cry. I remember when I got married and lived in NC, I wanted to cook something and didn't have the recipe, you were the first person that came into my mind when I thought, "who should I call?" You saw me graduated from high school. That was an important day for me.

I love you and will miss you. Take care of the rest of family and bake them cookies, but save some for me...

Love,

Katina
