D. Scott Davis, 68, of Hazle Twp. passed away Wednesday afternoon at Lehigh Valley Hospice Inpatient Unit, Allentown, after being cared for by his mom, daughter and friend Deborah.
Born in Hazleton, Jan. 12, 1954, he was the son of Nancy (Churbock) Davis, Hazle Twp., and the late David Davis and spent the past 14 years in Hazle Twp. after moving from Hazleton.
Scott was a Forklift Operator for Bemis Co., Hazleton, having retired in 2018. He was a member of Lattimer United Methodist Church, Lattimer Mines. He was an avid collector, enjoyed muscle cars, playing golf, fishing and baseball.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his father, by a sister, Judy Mattison-Davis.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are a daughter, Christen Cosgrove and her husband, Brian, Freeland; five grandchildren; Zuri, Brynn, Portia, River and Teagan; and friend of the family, Deborah Davis.
His funeral will be held with a memorial service at 11 a.m. Tuesday from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (East), 669 W. Butler Drive, Drums. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
Interment will take place privately in St. Johns Lutheran and United Church of Christ Cemetery, St. Johns.
