Family and friends will be received at Caywood's Funeral Home & Gardens, 1126 Broadway, Southport, on Wed. Dec. 22, 2010 between the hours of 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 8:15 p.m.

I was a guest in Cliff and Dawn's home for a short time this year, and they were very gracious hosts. My conversations with Cliff out in the "barn" are a treasure, he had a wonderful sense of humor and was a kind, patient and gentle soul.
I do not know what heralds or messengers are sent to meet the spirit of those who leave this world, but upon Cliff's passing it would not surprise me at all if the Master had said to the Good Samaritan "One with a heart like your own is approaching, go and meet him".
