I cleaned Mr.Mertus' room at East High School . Mr.Mertus had a way of making anything I did in his room special ,he was appreciative of any small task. He made my job worth doing.
On Mr . Mertus desk he would have his families pictures and that is not the only thing. On Mr. Mertus desk was a Bible. Mr. Mertus' faith was important to him . I know that heaven has claimed another angel ! He lived it ! Corning Painted Post Schools has lost a good man . Jill and his children will be ok because they have an angel on their shoulder. I am sorry for your loss ! Linda Wheat
