Walter C. Keegan

Walter C. Retiree Ingersoll-Rand 78, of 414 Third St. Athens, PA, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2000 at home, following an extended illness. Born August 17, 1922 in Sayre, PA, the son of Herman and Anna Marsh Keegan. He was employed at the Ingersoll Rand, Athens, for 43 years as a machinist, retiring in 1984. He is survived by his wife, Anna Murray Keegan, at home; his children and their spouses. There will be no calling hours. A Memorial Mass will be held Friday at 9:30 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Athens, with Rev. Vincent Langan officiating. Burial will be in the Epiphany Cemetery, Sayre, PA. Full military honors will be accorded by the Skiff Bower Post #1536 V.F. W. of Sayre. Memorial donations may be made to the Guthrie Hospice, R.R. #1, Box 154, Towanda, PA. 18848 or the David Smith Defense Fund in c/o Atty. Frances Crouse, 222 South Main St, Athens, PA. 19910.
