Michael McCue Obituary

WITTMAN - Michael Dennis McCue passed away peacefully at Talbot Hospice House, surrounded by family, Sunday, January 7, 2018. Born in Detroit, Michigan in 1942, he is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 55 years, Louise, daughter Kelly, sons Michael and Mark, brother Patrick, brother-in-law John, grandchildren Jamie, Cian and Cara, nephews Jerry, David, Neal and Michael, niece Angela, loving in-laws and their children.
Mike was a Navy veteran, a Teamster, and an athlete in his youth. He enjoyed time with family, was filled with great humor, loved music: particularly early Motown, The Subdudes, and Bob Seger, sports, cars, dogs, oceans and lakes (especially Lake Huron), trips to Baja with "Lou," and his favorite hobby, garage sales.
He was a loving and caring husband and father who believed strongly and continuously in the importance of family, and that love is in the giving. He was a good man. His humor, street sense/wisdom, and his love will be remembered and celebrated by all those who knew him.
Services will be private. Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to the Alzheimer's Association and Talbot Hospice House.
