Uncle Ricky was my godfather, uncle and constant source of good stories and interesting historical trivia. From what I can tell my Uncle Ricky lived a very full life of travel, love, adventure and curiosity. I believe he was the kind of person my grandmother would have called "A real mensch!" Rest in peace Uncle Ricky.

He was my big brother who dazzled my imagination with his love of war novels and science fiction...with his service on the Civil Air Patrol and the Air Force...later his adventures throughout the world with Marion and Steffie and Tanya. Sure he was a businessman, a good one, but to me he was my adventuring big brother. I´ll miss him but I´ve got our memories. Love you, Rick.
