KRISTY BLOSS Obituary
Kristy Lynn Bloss (née Patterson), age 55, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 8, 2016, in Dallas, Texas.
Kristy was born in Monterey Park, California, on March 16, 1961, and was raised in Hagerstown, Indiana by mother Donna Kaye Cain, step-father Charles Earl Cain, and father William Thomas Patterson. Kristy is a graduate of Hagerstown High School and Ball State University. In college, she met David Michael Bloss, and the two were married on April 20, 1985 in Richmond, Indiana.
In 1998, Kristy, David, and their two children moved to Flower Mound, Texas, where Kristy began her 18-year tenure with the Lewisville Independent School District. In every role she took on - food services, special education, technology, and finally in the attendance office at Wellington Elementary School - she was known to her coworkers by her sincere kindness, unconquerable vivacity, and side-splitting sense of humor. Kristy was also an avid reader, a tireless servant to others, and a woman of deep faith in Christ. Kristy was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lewisville, Texas.
Kristy is survived by her loving husband, David; children, Daniel and Sarah; sister, Kelly Autry and husband Garry; father, William Patterson and wife Patricia; aunt, Garla Smoot; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and family-in-law.
A Calling will be held at the Flower Mound Family Funeral Home from 7-9pm on Thursday, April 14, 2016. All are also encouraged to attend a Memorial Service at the First Baptist Church of Lewisville at 2pm on Friday, April 15, 2016.
In lieu of flowers, family would like donations to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at www.lls.org.
