Deborah Lorraine Obituary

DEBORAH LORRAINE

POOLE-HILL

Ms. Deborah Lorraine Poole-Hill, 55, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, October 5, 2008.

She was the daughter of Douglas H. Poole of Knightdale, NC and Hazel Poole of Wilmington, and is also survived by three sons, Bobby D. Owens, Jr., David E. Tyler, Jr., and Paul C. Tyler; one daughter, Christy L. Owens and husband Jay Miller; two sisters, Janet P. Holloway and husband Patrick, and Donna J. Poole; five grandchildren, Courtney M. and Eric D. White, Sienna "Skye" Owens, Malachi Miller, Kaleigh M. Cochran; and one great-grandchild expected soon.

Debbie dearly loved to sing gospel music, and was a former lead vocalist with "The Brookfield Singers," and "Vision Ministries." She was a wonderfully strong mom, and truly loved her family. She also loved to laugh, and greatly enjoyed movies, ice-cream, and animals. Her warm smile and firm but gentle hugs will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered, always. She was truly a gift from God.

The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm, Thursday, October 9, 2008, at Coble Ward-Smith Oleander Chapel. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm, Friday, October 10, 2008, at Brookfield Church of God, with interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Tributes and condolences may be offered to the family at www.mem.com.
