Donald Schreiber Obituary
SCHREIBER
Mr. Donald R. (Don) Schreiber, 79 of Lockwood Folly, NC, Lehigh Acres, FL, and formerly of Rumson, NJ, died early Thursday, September 3, 2009, at his residence.
Don was born December 11, 1930, in Teaneck, NJ, the son of the late Charles William and Mildred Brummer Schreiber. He is proceeded in death by his first wife, Jean Schreiber, brothers, Bill, Ken and Tom Schreiber and a grand-daughter Kortney Rose Gillette.
He was a graduate of Niagara University, Niagara Falls, NY, and was the founder and CEO of Don Schreiber and Company (DSCO) a Custom Loose-leaf Bindery in Laurence Harbor, NJ, and a leader in the Binding Industries Association of America.
Survivors include his wife Carolyn Skripek Schreiber of the home, his children Cathy Barr and husband Bob of St. Paul, MN, Don Schreiber Jr. and wife Holly of Rumson, NJ, Karen Heenehan and husband Mike of Flower Mound, TX, Kristen Gillette and husband Rich of Oceanport, NJ, sister Jackie Weckesser of Easton, PA, and nine grandchildren, Steve Barr, Chris Barr, Katelyn Barr, Matt Schreiber, Ann Schreiber, Taylor Heenehan, Josh Heenehan, Jake Heenehan and Kasey Gillette.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, September 6, at the Holden Beach Chapel, Holden Beach, NC, officiated by Brother Thomas Draney.
The family will receive friends at the Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service, Supply Chapel tonight from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. and Sunday from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. prior to the service at the church.

The world lost a GOOD man when Don left us. He was a wonderful friend and mentor. Whenever we were with Don it was a good time. We offer our deepest sympathy to Carolyn and to Don's children,spouses and grandchildren.
