James "Jim" C. Byram, formerly from San Antonio, Austin, and Rio Hondo, Texas, passed away at the age of 84 on August 17, 2025. Jim graduated from Texas A&M, Class of '66; and after 25 years with IBM Austin, retired in South Texas. He is survived by his spouse of 64 years, Ginger Byram; brother, Tom; sister-in-law, Rebecca Biehl and nephew Jeffrey Biehl. Arrangements are in the hands of Mission Park San Antonio. www.missionparks.com

Earlier today
Jim was a special friend to Geoffry and visited or called weekly. I had to shake my head listening to those two. I felt sorry for anyone trying to please them because they actually knew a lot about what seemed like everything. Jim will be missed.
