John Michael Obituary
March 30, 1958 - July 13, 2025
John Ford Michael, a bright, kind, and deeply patient man, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2025, at the age of 67. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose warmth and wisdom touched the lives of many.
John proudly served in the United States Navy, specializing in Nuclear Engineering. Following his military service, he dedicated his professional life to project management, culminating in a distinguished career with the City of Austin, from which he retired in 2023.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Arrington; his son, Cameron Michael; his daughter, Elizabeth Jennings; his stepdaughters, Chelsea Palmer and Ashley Weinberg; his brothers, David Michael and Jeff Michael; his sister, Rebekah Daily; and his stepsister, Beverly Chandley. John was a proud grandfather to three granddaughters and two step-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense joy.
John will be remembered for his unwavering patience, gentle spirit, and the quiet strength with which he approached life. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
A private gathering will be held to honor his life.
