Lane ALLEN Obituary

ALLEN, Lane Lane Allen, 80 years of age, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2018. He was born on July 9, 1937, in Odessa, Texas. Lane is survived by sister, Nancy Boynton, of Ft. Worth, Texas; nephew, Lee Boynton, and wife, Debbie, of Lindale, Texas; niece, Deborah McCain, and husband, Steve, of Ft. Worth, Texas; 5 great-nieces and -nephews; 6 great great-nieces and -nephews; cousin, Karen Smith, of Magazine, Arkansas; cousin, Susan Ridges, and husband, Randy, of Angelus Oaks, California; and half-brother, Eddie Allen, and wife, Rebecca, of Madison, Alabama. Lane was loved as a son, brother, uncle, and cousin. He enjoyed life and lived it on his terms. He loved people and would do what he could to help others. Lane was an excellent salesman (the majority of his career at ACCO), avid golfer, captivating storyteller, and devoted friend. Like most golfers, he was often frustrated about his game, but enjoyed the time with friends. He had an incredible ability to connect with people and was dedicated to maintaining those relationships. Memorial Reception will be held at Riverbend Church, Quad 4, on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 2 pm. 4214 N. Capital of Texas Highway 78746

I was Fortunate to work with lane in the office products industry for many years and he was truly a person you wanted to be around. My deepest condolences to his family, he will truly be missed
