Merry Christmas Noah!!! So much time has gone by without you, it has already been 10 months since you left the world. You most likely meet all the wonderful people that help shape the world and united states history that we read about in social studies. One day in May you sent me a sign that you were still around. In 8th grade every day after when we would walk to the band hall to get are Alto Saxophones you would say Hi, even though we had just talked the same class. One point I made you say Hi different ways in different languages. But, you did not like that and just went back to Hi, even though I was disappointed. That day in may coming back from physical therapy I shall Hi in the sky it was made by airplane smoke. The same day after Spanish Hi was again written in the sky but by clouds. The letters H and I both separate and I even had a dot on top of it. I think back all the time and smile about this. I usually try think about the good memories we had their is no use of me can you come back I need you. Sadly that will never happen. You were a friend that can never be replaced. Someone who will always have a part of my heart and I will miss you until I see you one day. I would love it if you would send me some more signs that you are still around.
Love always and Your Best friend,
Melissa Tonn

I was thinking about you today, Noah - not really sure why but you came into my mind and in my heart. I was remembering the day I helped your mom clean her apartment because she was having you in the next couple of days. She made sure there was NO dust! Of course she just pointed to me and your dad where we needed to clean! I remember your mom pregnant - I remember her beautiful glow about her when she found out you were a boy; I remember when you were born - when we baptized you. The fun time I remember is when I took off work to keep you - I would rock and sing to you - then life changed and I moved away; I always heard what a marvelous young man you turned out to be and I was so happy to know how proud your parents are of you. The day you passed away was such a shock for everyone. I can't even begin to imagine the hurt your family has had to endure. I know God takes his Angels first, so you must have been first in line. You are blessed - and even though that comes with heartache for everyone, you are in God's Kingdom and happy. Melba

Hi Noah, I don't even know where to start. I hadn't seen you since January of 2012 but I didn't forget about you. I never will. You are too special. I remember growing up you loved trains. You had a train set table & we would play everyday. We did alot together growing up. I loved hanging out with you & Auntie Em. I love the picture of you & auntie em smiling at each other. I can just hear your laugh. I will never forget it. I really miss that. You have the best laugh. Because you are always so happy. You are seriously the smartest kid I know. You were so passionate about learning all you could learn about what you were interested in. You always taught me something new everyday I saw you! It was supposed to be the other way around haha. You were so funny & so caring. You truly cared about everybody & everybody loved you! Uncle Jose was telling me that you talked about wanting alot of friends. Well Noah I know you saw everybody that showed up to your celebration of life.. That was all for you! You are one amazing kid Noah! I also wanted to say Thank you for making it possible for me to see you one last time. I know you made that happen. You also gave me the chance to see the rest of the family again too. It will never be the same without you Noah. But I know you will always be there in our hearts. & I know you are watching down on us taking care of us. Bell is lucky to have such a great big brother like you to look out for her! I love you Noah! I miss you & your laugh :) I will see you again one day but until then I hope you can hear me talk to you at night. I have to whisper because everyone else is sleeping. "Late at night when all the world is sleeping, I stay up & think of you!"

It had been a while since I last heard from Noah, and at that time, though being away for so long he still held joy in his heart. For that I am glad. I did not know him for very long nor very well, yet he took me in as a friend with open arms. The first friend I had this year. I was so worried about how I would get along socially after my only friends last year moved on to high school, yet so soon into the new school year, I found myself with a friend, and a good one at that. Never in my life was one who's natural happiness surpassed that of Noah, the very air around him seemed to shout out in joy, light around him courteously bent it's self into a smile that dazzled the eyes and brought good thoughts. It's been a while since we last talked that night of the science fair, since then I have found peace knowing he was so dearly loved by his family and friends. I once heard it said that it's sad to morn someone that fulfilled their own purpose in life. I for one will say that he did, by his very being. Joy, a joy once lost was found by Noah Rodriguez and is now left to us, for just as everything that was once his and is now in the hands of the world, so let us make the best of the memories and stories he gave, let us smile just as he did. I am proud to say that I was a friend.

Noah, honoring the day of your birth...
You are a gift from God given to us for too brief of a time. The day you were born gave us great joy and every day since has been a new memory that we will cherish forever. You will live on and on in all the hearts you've touched with your kindness. You taught us so much about compassion and made us better people. We learned so much from you and will promise to live in your example until we are with you again. We know that the Lord is embracing you and you are in a better place and you will be there to greet us and tell us all you now know. You once again will have all the answers and have to explain it to us. Your intelligence was something that we admired, your love of learning was a joy to experience and your wonderful attitude was something we all could aspire to duplicate.
Noah, you are now the pilot of you own airplane and can fly wherever you want now… you will see the world as you always wanted to.
We can only go on knowing that you are in a better place now and we will miss you for the rest of our lives. We have you in our hearts, our minds, our very being… you our beautiful boy will continue to be in this world because we will share your life with all. Your family and friends will keep you in their hearts, and you will travel with them to every new place and be a part of many, many lives forever.
We miss you so much and our days are darker without our bright light in it to show us our way.
We are blessed to be your parents,
Love always,
Mom & Dad

Noah, although your physical journey here on this earth has ended far too soon we know that you continue to be around us everyday. You will be truly missed by everyone that came to know you, Noah. In listening to your mom and dad and all your friends speak of you one thing is consistent; you were a kind soul that looked for the best in everyone and everything. You truly treated everyone as if they were very special to you.
Your passion for learning was remarkable; Noah, but you know what else is true? You were a teacher as well. You taught so many people so many lessons not only in school but also in life and for this we are all grateful. During your celebration I heard several of your friends say that you helped them with math homework as well as other homework, and that you were willing to take time from what you were doing just to help them. It was this teacher in you that will also be missed. Your positive outlook on life had a tremendous impact on more people than you will ever know. We are ALL better people for having known you, Noah.
Although our hearts break that you are no longer here with us we know we will see each other again. So until then our little warrior, enjoy your new journey, enjoy your new journey. We will always love you. John, Lisa, Gabrielle, Olivia and JD.
Fly Noah, Fly!

When Noah came into this world, I felt very proud to be his uncle. As I saw him grow, I fondly remember the little moments where we were together as a family. One that sticks with me is when we were at a family reunion with our grandfather in Eagle Pass, TX. All the uncles and cousins had gone across the street to play football and soccer. Noah ran around so much with a soccer ball, that he was drenched in sweat. Jose took a great pic of him afterwards.
Another time, Noah was visiting in Beaumont. We were outside playing and knocked over a bucket of water. He ran off across the field to hide and cry, because he thought he was in trouble. Jose called him back and assured him that it was ok.
Jose and Em did a wonderful job giving Noah everything that life had to offer. I will always keep happy memories in my heart to remember Noah.

I met Noah only after he was in the hospital and very ill so I never got to talk with him… however I did get to know him very well through his parents and sister and through the abundant photos and cards that were posted in his hospital room. What I saw was a remarkable young man who was bright, caring, funny, full of life, curious and lived life to the fullest – even at such a young age. I wish I could have gotten to know Noah, outside of a hospital room… but it was very clear how much he meant to others. His parents were the type I wished I could have given to every child – deeply loving and committed, dedicated and supportive in every way. I looked through his photo gallery and wanted to sit with his parents and hear about every photo taken… every story of his youth his life and adventures. Yes I was very touched by this young man and his family. I will never forget Noah, and his family… and I pray that they can find some solace in his memories…. And how many people he clearly touched in his 14 years on this earth. My love and prayers to you… Jose, Emily and Isabell

When we lose someone we love, it's traditional to share what we admired about that person. We are all God's children. We are all special. We are all beautiful. But this is what I want to shout from the rooftops: Noah was more. Noah was extra special. I don't say this just because my heart is breaking, I have been saying this for years. Those of you were lucky enough to know him understand exactly what I mean. This kid was amazing. Smart, funny, wise, and kind. Noah had a strength of character and a love of learning that you just don't see every day, especially in someone his age. I have two daughters. When I have talked to them in the past about the qualities they should look for in a boy, it was always Noah that I used as an example, and I will continue to do so.
Em, Jose, and Isabel, I love you all so much and pray for you daily.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Rodriguez,
I have such fond memories of Noah when I was librarian at PCMS. It's impossible to know every student in a school, but Noah stood out as such a special young man. He was always kind and respectful and always had a big smile for me every time he came to the library. I will always remember his great coin collection which he proudly displayed in the library and was enjoyed by the whole school. Noah was indeed a special young man which I was privileged to know. I'm holding you up in my prayers.

There just are no words to comfort you nor express the sorrow we feel for your precious family. Though we do not know you personally, we have children and grandchildren in Pflugerville who have been touched by your sweet son's story. May God's peace surround you these days.

Rodriguez Family,
I did not have the honor of having Noah as a student; however, had the chance to know of him.
Although his life was cut way too short he had the opportunity to touch many lives.
May God grace your family with his presence during this difficult time. May your heart stay full of many wonderful memories and may your arms be full with warm embraces.
With prayers and thoughts,
A PCMS 6th grade teacher
