HUDSON, Dr. Ronald K.
Dr. Ronald K. Hudson born 1935 in Ravenna Ohio has left this world and moved on. February 6, 2017. Preceded in death by his mother & father, Ann & Charles Hudson & brother Charles James Hudson. Survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Kimberly Hudson and children Pamela Jane Hudson, Lorraine Vera Hudson Gibbs & Charles Stanton Hudson, grandchildren Brandon White, Austin Hudson, Alycia Hudson & his great grandchildren Andi, Sivanah & Tyler White, Brother in laws & wife Paul & Alice Chambless & Benjamin Chambless, Lester & Wendy Birdsong. Growing up in Ohio he belonged to 7 unions while putting himself through Dental school. Fondly known as Doc to friends, he & his wife spent a lifetime of traveling, scuba, sight-seeing & adventures. Serving as an officer & head of the Dental Division in the Air Force he won the AFLSA & AFR award. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited and an early member of CCA. As a longtime member of Austin Woods & Waters Club and a hunter he was also earned a spot with the elite group in the Boon & Crocket Worlds Record Book. After retiring from Dentistry for 45 years in Austin, he settled to the Texas coast where he spent his days fishing, boating, friends & various charity work for his local Magnolia Beach Fire Dept and others.

Services will be held at The New Beginnings Church at 301 Alcoa Dr. Port Lavaca, Tx. 77979,on February 20, 2017 at 2PM and BBQ gathering to follow. Flowers can be sent to church same day before noon. Donations can be made to the Magnolia Beach Volunteer Fire Dept. PO Box 318 Port Lavaca, Tx 77979.

Doc took care of our family since I was a little boy. He was a friend and always enjoyed talking about hunting and fishing with me. He was a caring man. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family.
