Tremendously talented radiologist. Excellent physician who taught me a lot through the many patients that we shared. Always took time to help me help my patients. I could tell that his staff were devoted to him because of what a great and kind man he was. I only knew him professionally. But I did consider him my friend and associate.

Dr. Campbell treated me while we both were deployed on the ice. I had a metal sliver in my eye and removed it, saving the sight of my right eye. Sorry to hear him passing, prayers at 110%. Amen

I knew Scott for a year when he came to Dundee University in Scotland for a year as an undergraduate . He fitted in and was very well liked by all that got to know him.
I am so sorry to read that he was taken away' so early. My heart felt sympathy to his wife, daughters and family. I know we don't know each other but our life as physicians, training / qualifying at the same time, run in parallel .

Troye, Patti and I wish you and the girls the very best. We are very sad to hear about Scott. Though a few years have past since Scott and I practiced together, we were always checking in with each other to see how things were going and if there was anything he could do to help me and family, and vice versa. I know how much he will be missed by everyone and all the lives he touched. I can honestly say, there are only a handful of physicians that I known that were as passionate about their practice as Scott; and had all the prerequisite skills to match. Scott was definitely one of those special doctors. This was recognized by the Austin medical community in which he served, and all the patient's he treated over the years. They will truly mourn his early departure. I know that Scott's 1st love was you and the girls. He was a so very proud of all of you. I also know how devoted he was to the church. We will all miss him tremendously. Love , Patti and Greg

I was very shocked to hear the news of Dr. Campbell's death. I just received a text message from him last month. I worked with him doing many myelograms and he was a brilliant radiologist. This is a great loss to the medical community of Austin. I learned many things working with him and will miss him. But the good news ****To live for Christ to die is gain *** Congrats you made it to the promised land!!!!!!!!!!!

To each of the Campbells.....I was greatly saddened to learn of your loss....needless to say, always was glad to see Scott at the volleyball games.....it affirms that life is so uncertain, but know that you continue to be in my prayers and I send blessings to each of you as you tread this new walk in life....your knowing that I lost my sweetheart mate 2 years ago, I truly understand the void and loneliness that is created with his absence...please know that God knows who you are, he knows where you are and he knows your needs each day, so feel free to call on him as his line is open 24/7 and you will never get a busy signal....when days get lonely, open the memory bank and relive all the fun times your family enjoyed together.....Blessings to each of you.....

I am so sad to hear of Scott's death on this Earth but know that he is certainly in Heaven as a child and believer of Christ. I met Dr. Campbell originally at church but also asked him to collaborate on many of my medical cases, and his skills were always excellent. I am so sad for his family and also sad that he is unable to be present throughout his daughters' and wife's lives. My prayers are for his family and for the rest of us who will miss him.

I met Dr. Campbell in 1998 while working as an MRI tech at CTIC. From Dr. Campbell, I learned a lot of things that I still bring to my MRI practice today. Attention to detail, thorough history, and planning of the case before me. I am so sorry for such a great loss to your family. I know he was so proud of his family, and had such a great love for you, Troye.

From the time you first reached out to us out of the blue to see if we were in a similar waiting game as you all, we've felt a special bond with you. We've so enjoyed getting to know your whole family, and sharing in the experience that our girls were going through, and will continue to go through together. Scott, your passion and pride for your family, and daughters in particular, were without question and those around you couldn't help but share in the emotion, excitement, and joy you exuded. While we're so sorry that we won't get to sit with you in the stands at Maples and elsewhere, we know that you will be there watching, cheering, and enjoying the moment. We will cheer extra loudly for you, and Holly will make you so proud. Troye, our thoughts and prayers are with you and the girls, and we look forward to continuing to get to know you all better, and share lots of experiences and adventures over the upcoming years. Lots of love to you all.

I met Scott in medical school and we became instant friends. During that time, he dedicated his life to Christ. He and I have kept in touch and talked on a regular basis. Though he and I shared our struggles as accountability partners, Scott's heart was always desiring to be more like His Savior so he could be the man, husband, and father that God intended. He loved Troye and his children deeply. When his brother, Rob, called me to tell my that Scott had passed away, I was at first numb and couldn't believe what I was hearing. When we hung up, the reality set in and I wept for a long time because I realized that for now, I have lost my best friend. My sympathy, thoughts, and prayers go out to Troye, Holly, Casey, Kylie, and all those who will, like me, miss this wonderful man. May we be comforted with the fact that he is in the loving arms of Jesus and we will all be with him again someday; together for all eternity.

Dr. Campbell was a mentor and friend. Not only was he incredibly smart, he always went above and beyond for our mutual patients. He was really passionate about his work. But, what I remember most about him is how he would light up when he talked about his daughters. He was a man that lived out of his values. I will do my very best to honor his life by following his example always staying true to my values and being an amazing Dad to my three daughters. This world has suffered a big loss. Dr. Campbell's shoes cannot be filled. My thoughts and prayers go out to you Troye, Holly, Casey and Kylie.

Our time with Scott over the years at volleyball events and talking volleyball was always so enjoyable. His passion for life and for his family showed in everything he did. The world has lost an excellent neuroradiologist- detail oriented with a strong work ethic, and a steady sure hand at procedures. Those of us who worked with Scott would never have trusted our own families to anyone else. Troye and girls, I hope you truly understand how much Scott was respected and admired in the medical community for his skill. He made a difference in so many of his patient's lives, and that is a legacy to be proud of. Scott was so proud of his daughters, truly the loves of his life. The thing that I will remember the most about Scott is how he spoke of his God and his trust in God in daily conversations, most recently in a work text a few days before his unexpected passing. I know that Scott is safe in his arms. My deepest condolences, Tami Blais

I got to know Dr. Campbell during spine care conferences and when working together to select and review testing in complex cases. He was meticulous and incredibly helpful. I wish I'd gotten to know him better, but I know that spine patients in central Texas will miss his expertise. I'd like to extend my deepest condolences and those of the Seton Brain and Spine Institute to Dr. Campbell's family.

Though we never actually shook hands, I have known Scott since I started my career as a Physician Assistant in Pain management over 14yrs ago. He was wonderfully talented and was always willing to go the extra mile to help others. I am very sorry to hear of his passing. He will be missed.

My heart, prayers an condolences go out to the entire Campbell family. I was fortunate enough to be one of Scott's middle school childhood friends during the family's short tour of duty in Va Beach. We had periodic contact over the years an had recently reconnected of which I am very grateful. Scott's passion an heart for life was even evident at that young age as he seemed to enjoy an excel at most things he attempted. Thank you Scott for being my friend. We will meet again one day in heaven. Until then, I pray God's care an blessings on your immediate an extended family. Harry Runkle

Scott made a very real impact in the lives of so many. His eye for radiographic detail in his work allowed all of us who worked with him to better diagnose and manage our shared patients. Many patients are no longer suffering from pain because of his dedication to his profession.
Others have benefitted from his strong, fervent devotion to God and his belief in Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit which drove him to reach out to others and help guide them, to encourage them, and to teach from his heart, to overcome struggles that we each are challenged with.
His family has lost a supportive, devoted, loving father and husband who always wanted the best for his family and worked hard to always be there for them.

Scott was always such a friendly guy. My first interactions with Scott were while coaching Kylie and Janie in soccer.
