One year later, the corporation purchased the land on Drift Creek near Silverton, Oregon that would become the home of Canyonview Camp, Canyonview Equestrian College, and Biblion Bible College and Seminary. Dr. Campbell (Ernie to all who knew him) dedicated his life to accurately speaking God's truth in love. Side by side with his wife, Fern, they dedicated their lives to the ministry of faithfully teaching the Bible. Ernie authored 14 commentaries on the Pauline Epistles, which he considered to be his greatest legacy. A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 31 at Canyonview Camp, Silverton. Gifts of gratitude and remembrance should be made to Canyonview (Box 128, Silverton, Ore. 97381). Ernie was greatly esteemed for his unwavering commitment to the gospel and his powerful handshake. He is absent from his body and at home with his Lord. His legacy of "Speaking God's Truth in Love" will live on.

I came to Silverton and Canyonview in1979. Ernie was the kind of man you could talk to. I appreciate all that he did, his commentaries, the classes, Salem Bible Church. I am grateful for his fatherly and brotherly advice. [email protected]

Ernie,
Thank you for your many years of service to the Body of Christ. Your preaching of the gospel brought to light what God was telling us in His word. Thank you for establishing a Camp & College that spread the word of god to thousands in a fun and loving way. Many were saved through this ministry. Working side by side with you I'll never forget how hard you worked. Thank you for the hay rides you gave us in the '70's. When you fired up that tractor and sent us on the widest rides of our lives I saw the joy you were having. At your 90th birthday you no longer knew me, but that's ok. Today you are in heaven probably in a mansion filled with trophies of a life well served here on earth. I look forward to the day when we meet again. to the fanily I send my condolences, but I know it's a celebration of Ernie's step into heaven.
