Steve didn't remember me about 30 years ago. I met Steve through my friend Ron Stonesifer way back in the day. Steve turned me on to Jerry Jeff Walker and Hoyt Axton. Steve was a real dude.

I knew Steve for 39 years ,way, way back in the day and we were thick into it, we all knew what Steve liked, but also it was the music, the blues, a game of chess, Frisbee in the park, he was an one eyed man with a rye since of humor, but it was also that we could sit down and talk about life, as he aged his body betrayed him early, but it didn't dampen his spirit, I am proud to say that he was my friend, i will miss him, peace man.
