Jamie Wilson Obituary
Jamie attended Atlantic International Institute and was a high school graduate of Heritage Institute Jacksonville, Florida, a medical assistant, phlebotomist, PCT and a CAN. She was enrolled at Jersey College. Jamie worked several places Dunkin' Donuts, Allegro, Emeritus known as Brooksdale, Winn-Dixie, Clyde Lassen VA Nursing Home and Ponce Care Center. She was the owner of Jamie Cleaning Services.
She enjoyed spending time with BOBO, crocheting, needlepoint and loved to sing.
Cherishing her memories are her loving family, son, Johnny L. Williams Jr.; father, James A. Wilson Sr.; mother, Zemetra N. Carswell; pet, Bobo; paternal grandparent, Betty A. Stirrup; maternal grandparents, JoAnn Carswell and Johnny Reese; sisters, Alesia L. Wilson, Jaliya T. Wilson; brother, James A. Wilson, Jr.; uncles, Derick Jolay, John Carswell, Tony S. (Adrian) Lyon, (Jacksonville) and John A. (Shannon) Wilson (Elizabethtown, Kentucky); aunts, Patrice C.A. (TJ) Fleming, Cheryl A. (Connie Lee) Lyons; niece and nephew, Zerian Wilson, Zora Early and Zyion Wilson; and a host of great uncles, great aunt, cousins and friends.
She is predeceased by paternal grandfather, Charles A. "Rabbit" Wilson.
Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 16, 2016, at St. Paul AME Church, the Ron Rawls, pastor. Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church and Saturday from noon until the hour of service.

My deepest and heartfelt condolences to Jamie's family. So difficult to lose someone so young, especially in this way. Even though I only met Jamie briefly a time or two, I knew Jamie was such a smart and drive young lady who had achieved so much in her young life yet continued to strive for more - a most admiral trait! Like my niece, Shannon Wilson, always says, God has a plan for our life even if we do not know what it is. I'm sure God has a lesson in this for all. Jamie - I can't go a day without thinking about Jamie and I only new her as my relative through FB. She was such a vibrant, sweet, young women taken too soon. My prayers are with the family. I am so sad. I used to watch her videos singing and driving in her car or out someplace eating seafood. So full of promise and always smiling, working and wanting to be the best mom ever. Jamie you were a beautiful person inside and out!! I can't remember one time seeing you and you didn't have a huge smile on your face...i can remember the day i met you 3 years ago at bayview, your personality and intelligence instantly stood out amongst others!! You would call on fridays to place your order but before you hang up you would make sure you say "ThankY'all" like 5 times!! This girl was amazing, Full of life, and always positive!! Sending my heartfelt condolences to Jamie's family and her little son. Life can be so shockingly brutal and in a instant, our time here on earth can be done. I didn't know this beautiful young lady and her tragedy has reminded me of how each day is so special because we don't know when it's our turn to move on.
