Paris Ny'Kel Byrd

Paris Ny'Kel Byrd, 13, of St. Augustine, made her smooth transition from labor to reward on Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017, at Flagler Hospital surrounded by her loving and devoted family.

Paris was born to Erika Lowe and Vincent Byrd on Dec. 16, 2003.

Paris attended St. Johns County Schools. She was attending R.J. Murray Middle School at the time of her demise. Paris was in the Cambridge Advanced Studies Program maintaining the A/B honor each semester. She was also involved in C.R.O.P & A.V.I.D among other achievements.

Paris was not only a member but she was born into E. A. Kelley Sr. Memorial Church of God in Christ. When she was old enough Paris started singing with the Sunshine Band & later became a part of "God's Little Angels" praise dance team. Paris touched many lives and her legacy will live on.

Paris leaves to cherish her loving memories, her dedicated and devoted mother, Erika Lowe (Solomon Coley), St. Augustine and father, Vincent Byrd, Jacksonville; sisters, Aaliyah Byrd, Kallani Byrd, Palm Coast, Ariel, Vallesha, and Dallas Byrd, all of Jacksonville; brothers, Vincent Byrd Jr., Jacksonville, Jalen, Christian, and Erik Byrd, Brayden Coley, all of

St. Augustine; maternal grandmother, Ruth Ferrell; paternal grandfather, Alphonso (Marie) Byrd; maternal great-grandmother, Clara Edwards, Lillian Harris and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and godparents.
Princess Paris will lay in state from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday at E.A. Kelley Memorial Church of God in Christ,. 760 W. King St., Supt. Donald Kelley, pastor and eulogist. Homegoing celebration will take place at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16, at Anchor Faith Church, Pastors Earl and Marci Glisson, 23121 US ! So. She will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
