Retired Speech Language Pathologist/Audiologist, Inventor, Thespian
Born April 20, 1934, Lafayette, IN
Survived by his devoted wife of 36 years, Kathleen Hooker, and loving daughter, Jennifer Hooker (NY), both of South Bend, IN.
Children: Samantha Schreiber, (AZ), and Patrick Hooker, (CO).
4 Grandchildren; 2 Sisters.
Interests: amateur theater (1975–2005), antique cars, trivia and history buff, LP records, 1950's music/dancing, classic movies, tasty meals, well-dressed fashion, Saint Augustine Tea Party, and the Marx Brothers.

Passion: Helping dyslexics/those with learning disabilities.
Indiana University (B.S.'60) and Ball State University (M.A.'65). He taught SLP in schools over 25 years, public speaking,and served the hearing impaired. (Indiana, Wisconsin, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, and Florida)
Inventor of the SRT Audiometer – still in use today.
United States Army Veteran, served in Germany during the Occupation Forces. Cleared for Top Secret.
Life Celebration/Memorial Service, February 10 at 2:30pm.

Kathleen and family, I want to express my sadness at Pauls passing. He will be missed by all who knew him. He had the soul of a jokester and a social ease among everyone. Take comfort as this new journey begins for you and your family that Paul's legacy will remain with us who knew him. As always Yvonne

We are so sad that we have lost a special friend. Paul was a kind soul, a true patriot, an intellectual, a conservative long-term Saint Augustine Tea Party Member, and a courageous U. S. Army Veteran. He will truly be missed by all. Our condolences to Kathleen and family members...
