My wife Dianne, her father and I just returned from the service for Dianne's Uncle Phil. It was a very moving experience and we learned so much more about Phil than we ever knew before. He touched many people in his life, more than I bet he ever realized. Tammy and Shirley our thoughts are with you always.

I so enjoyed the visits I had at the Nursing Home with Phil and Shirley. The short time I have known Phil, I have just admired him and his loving relationship with Shirley. I loved all the stories he told about his flying... what a great man. I will miss him and I will miss my visits with Shirley. My father Bob Klein was Phils roommate at Iola Living Assistance. Take much care Shirley...

Phil was always cheerful, and smiling when I came to fill the fuel oil tank. Many times he gave me a cassette tape of favorite music he had recorded. May God's presence comfort you in this hard time.
