Benjamin Bush Obituary

Bush, Benjamin Franklin, II Passed away peacefully and with dignity on Saturday, July 25, 2009. Beloved husband of Elizabeth Mitchell Bush; loving father of sons, Benjamin F. Bush III and Andrew Foster Bush and dear grandfather of Tyler Mitchell Bush. Ben was born on April 21, 1925 in Pittsburgh, PA to Esther Bush and Myrle Bush. He was an Eagle Scout and enlisted and served in the 10th Mountain Division in WWII. He received a Bronze Star and Purple Heart during his tour of duty in Italy. He worked as a manufacturer's representative for OEM Products. He was an avid outdoorsman, loving to hike, ski, canoe and fly fish. Services: A memorial service will be held at St. Peters Episcopal Church, 110 North Warson Road, at Ladue Road, Ladue on Friday, July 31, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. Private interment Valhalla Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to MICDS, 101 North Warson Road, St. Louis, MO 63124 or the 10th Mountain Division Scholarship Fund, 133 South Van Gordon St., Lakewood, CO 80228. A service of LUPTON CHAPEL.

Betty,
Doey and I were saddened to learn of Ben's passing. He was an accomplished squash player and a true gentleman. I'm, proud to have known him. Mom and dad thought the world of you guys.....
