Donald A. Buttram

Buttram, Donald A. 85, passed away, Friday, November 9, 2007. Loving husband of the late Jacquelyn Buttram (nee Baer). Dear father of Stevia (Barry) Schenck, Scott (Terry Evans) Buttram and Allison Starling; grandfather of Duncan (Julie), Drew (Bridget) and Micah Schenck, Tim Buttram and Kate (Kurt) Colin and Courtney Starling; brother of Harold (Virginia) Buttram. Dear great-grandfather, brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many. Captain Buttram had a flying career spanning 60 years starting with Braniff, then 30 years with Ozark Airlines and ending as a Colonel in the Commemorative Air Force. He was a founding member of the St. Louis Live Steamers and a contributing member of the W.F. & P. R.R. in Glencoe. Don was also an avid scuba diver. He was proud to be a member of A.A. and a friend and sponsor to many.Services: Memorial service at The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, 1166 S.
