I worked with Dick in the telecommunications business starting in the mid 80's and have remained friends with him over the years. So many funny stories and experiences. He and I shared a love of bicycles and I will greatly miss his dry humor and friendship. From my perspective he was always a person you could count on and he was unfiltered and direct in his style. Dicks passing makes me take a closer account of my own life and I realize how precious time is for all of us.
My condolences to Barb, Ryan, and Julie. My wife Brinda and I have you in our thoughts and prayers.

I had known Dick for 30 years with many of those earlier years while working with him in telecommunications. We remained good friends until we got the very sad news. Deepest condolences to you, Barb, Ryan and Julie. He was a very good person!

I knew Dick many years ago when I was in the TelCom business.. Always loved his enthusiasm. I remember once my wife and I had purchased some items at a charity auction and we didn't have a way to get them back to our house and Dick volunteered to being his trailer and he got the job done for us.. Another time he showed up at my front door with two dead ducks after his day out hunting.. We laughed about that for a long time.. He was quite a guy.
