You do not know me. I am an employee at Schnucks. Your mother would come in every Tuesday morning to shop and buy her lottery tickets.I waited on her all the time. We used to joke about spending the money on something she would never win. I was on vacation when she passed and I just found out about it on Monday when I returned. I always looked forward to her coming in. She was one of those customers that you enjoyed waiting on. She will surely be missed.

Don't know how long we knew each other, but my guess is 33 years.
Just had received her letter dated July 15th that she was excited about her trip to California this week. I'm still taken aback; I was going to call her on my lunch hour today. Kathleen, you had a great mom. God Bless. TERRI DELLAROSA

Kathleen,
I lost my mom in 2001 - now I feel as though I've lost another. Fran was so very special to me both in her role as a surrogate mom and even more as my friend. I could always count on her to make me laugh. She provided such wonderful stories about things she did as a child. We had so many conversations about Italian cooking. I truly loved the time we spent both on the phone and when I could pry her out of her chair for an evening out. She was very special to me and always made me feel that I was special to her. She will be missed.

Kathleen - I had the pleasure of working with your dear mother for many years and what fun she was. We had many a laugh together. Fran talked of you often and all that came in contact with her understood that family was very important to her. I am a better person for having known her. Elaine Luzynski (Keller, TX)

Kathleen & Family, Fran has been a dear work friend of mine for some time. She was quite a character - funny, full of life and a joy to know. I'm so sorry she was taken so soon, but so blessed to have known her and shared her friendship. God Bless.

Re: Memories of Frances Polizzi
I grew up with Frances at Trinity Tabernacle Church. We were good friends since childhood. I bought my first trumpet from her brother Johnny. My parents arranged for me to travel every week from Overland to the Pollizi’s home on Byrd Ave, down the street from the Easton Ave. streetcar line, for trumpet lessons from Mr. Polizzi. He made me laugh at his unusual and funny ways to explain how to play the thing.
My family appreciated Mr. and Mrs. Polizzi, their Italian heritage and their commitment to Christ. Everyone in the family had some kind of talent. Mom Polizzi and her great cooking, Papa Polizzi with his trombone, Norma with her violin and Johnny with his trumpet, Frankie with his good looks and Frances with her charming personality. What a family.
Frances was a charming young lady who always had a smile and a quick laugh. She was a good Christian girl always fun loving and gentle person to be with. I remember walking with her in her neighborhood streets heading for the streetcar to travel to church. I had the privilege of going out with her on a few occasion.
I always looked forward to seeing her at our Trinity reunions .We always shared a hug. I will always remember her for her charm and beautiful personality. I will always appreciate what she meant to me. She will be missed.
