Geneva Lovelace Obituary

Lovelace, Geneva E. Jeanne (nee Walker) entered this world on September 1, 1918 and left us on March 26, 2010. Jeanne was the daughter of Herbert and Myrtle Walker form Monmouth, Illinois and spent her childhood growing up on a farm there. She married Denver C. Fields and together they had two sons. After Denver's death, Jeanne married John W. Lovelace. They lived their retirement years together in their home in Shrewsbury until John's death in 2001 at which time Jeanne moved to Bethesda Gardens in Kirkwood. Jeanne's family was her life and she is survived by her two sons-Jim Fields and Bill (Karen) Fields, four grandchildren - Julie (Anthony), Tracy, Amy, and David; one great-grandchild - Camryn, and one sister - Ruth Shinn. Services: Visitation for Jeanne will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday at BOPP Chapel, 10610 Manchester Road in Kirkwood with service at 12:30. Interment Valhalla Cemetery. Before her death, Jeanne requested that any donations in her memory be made to the American Heart Association.
