Dear Bunny - I was saddened to learn of Jack's death. He was my closest and best friend all through the 60s. His thoughtfulness and friendly letters while I was in Viet Nam helped make an intolerable period tolerable. The generosity shown me by him and his family will never be forgotten. He was even more generous when I joined him on the KHS faculty, showing me the ropes and allowing me to coach baseball with him. I will miss him. Please accept my sympathy and extend my condolences to your children.

Dear Bunny and "kids", I was so sad to learn of Jack's passing. Many of us have fond memories of our times as a "group" with Jack one of us. One of the best is when he took his mom's car, the red Tbird, and loaded it up with a couple of those black & white road "horses" - I think we put them in someone's yard! His mom was not pleased! But it was all in good fun and he was a big part of it! Very best to you all in your time of sorrow.

Dear Family of Jack Collier:
I was sad to learn of Mr. Collier's passing. I have many fond memories of him. Those of us who played football under him at KHS will long remember him as an inspiration and friend. Although there is most certainly more to life than football, this has been a sad year for those of us who knew Mr. Collier and Mr. Shannon on the field.

I hope he's found true peace. The boys and I said a prayer for him lastnight.
