Mark Parsons Obituary

Parsons, Mark Ross 57, of Richmond, Va. (formerly of St. Louis) died February 12, 2016. He was preceded in death by his mother, Janet Johnston Parsons; and brother, Johnston Burwell Parsons. Mark is survived by a devoted family: his father, Ronald Edwin Parsons and stepmother, Miriam Jones Parsons of Fredericksburg, Va.; sister, Regina Martin and her husband, Robert of Berryville, Va.; sister Barbara Moore and her husband, R.B. of Richmond, Va.; twin brother, Vincent Parsons and his wife, Mary Jo of Lee's Summit, Mo. Mark is also survived by his nieces, Emily Parsons Newby, Muriel Martin, Ellen Parsons, Rebecca Parsons and nephew, Eric Parsons. His many friends will remember Mark's love of travel, 50s/60s/70s rock music, and sharing fond memories from his childhood. Services will be private.

Barb, Vincent, Regina, Mr. Parsons and families- my thoughts are with all of you. It sounds as Mark was brave. I remember him as a gentle soul with a good sense of humor. Have peace in your hearts- he's in good company, and the house band must be phenomenal by now. I know he will be greatly missed.

My heartfelt condolences go out to the Parsons family. I remember Mark as a young teenager & he was always sweet & innocent, with just a little mischief mixed in. This is so sad. My heart goes out to y'all. My thoughts & prayers are with you. Please let me know if I can be of any service to you.
