Maurice Seebeck Obituary

Maurice "Mo" Seebeck, born in Auckland, New Zealand to Theodore Seebeck, Jr. & Peace (Clark) Seebeck on 7/12/1945 was the oldest of 4 who were all raised in St. Louis. His favorite stories of growing up often involved him singing & dancing as a teen in local clubs. He met Elizabeth "Betty" Steimley on a blind date at one of these, St. Anthony's Teen Town. They married in 1966 and had 2 children, Dorlisa & Maurice "Mo", Jr. (Sandra Lopez). Mo proudly served his country in the USAF from 1965-1985 and continued serving with gov't contractors until 2006. He died peacefully 5/28/2024 in Henderson, NV. Mo is missed by all who knew him, especially his children, grandchildren James Seebeck, Valerie Courser, Hannah Hall (Cooper), Damian Nunez, Michael Nunez, Maurice "Mo" Seebeck, III, Kayla Seebeck, great grandson Cassian Medrano, great granddaughter Macey Jane Hall, brother Geoffrey Seebeck (Maggie), nieces, nephews, & many dear friends. Mo was preceded in death by his wife, parents, brother Theodore, sister Dorathea & nephews Theodore Seebeck III &Christopher Davis. Services are scheduled in Southern Nevada in November 2024.

I lived next door to the Seebecks and dated Maurice during our high school days. His mother, Peace, was my sponsor when I was confirmed. So sorry to hear of his passing.
