Raymond E. "Perk" Hecht

Hecht, Raymond E. Perk Fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church, Tuesday, July 26th, 2016 at his Fenton home in the comfort of his family. Born June 14, 1933 in St. Louis, the son of the late John F. and Agnes (Lubbers) Hecht and brother of the late John Hecht. Beloved husband of Alice J. Hecht (nee Breeding) for 59 years; dear father of Kevin (Linda), David (Patrice), Andrew (Maria), and Mary Beth; dear grandfather of Dan (Jolyn), Jeff, Natalie and Tony; dear great-grandfather of Arabella, Alice, and Arthur; dear brother-in-law, uncle, and friend to many. Perk attended North St. Louis' Holy Trinity grade school and De Andreis high school and was a long time parishioner at Our Lady of Loretto in Spanish Lake. He was a proud member of the International Union of Elevator Constructors Local 3 for 61 years. To know him was to love him. Many thanks to Mercy Hospice, especially Fran, Calvina, Joy, and Martha. Services: Family reception on Saturday, July 30th at 9:00 a.m. followed by memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 17 Ann Ave., Valley Park, MO 63088.
