My thoughts and prayers go out to your family. Mr. Harrell was an awesome man and role model. He was my principal at Bierbaum and supported my family through the death of my father when I was 9. I now am an educator and he was my sub when my first child was born. I couldn't have left my first graders in better hands! He will truly be missed!

My mom, Mary Casalone worked for Roy at Bierbaum. He was always nice to me and members of my family, and dedicated a plaque in her honor next to a tree on the Bierbaum campus. My prayers and condolences to the family.

Dearest Kate and family, my prayers are with you and may Roy Glen's love and laughter always fill your hearts with fond memories. He had a special gift that could light up a room, but now his light will forever stay lit within your hearts, as with mine. He was so very dear to me. God Bless you Kate and family. Sincerely,

Mr. Harrell was my principal from Kindergarten through 6th grade. I still have my 6th grade yearbook that has all the caricatures we drew for him because it was his last year before retirement. He was a great man!

Mr. Harrell was a truly wonderful and genuine individual. He knew each of us by name, and was instrumental in guiding each of us to become the individuals that we are today. I will never, ever forget him, and I know there are many other Buffalo alumni that feel the same way. We will miss you, #1 Buffalo. Rest In Peace.
