October 3, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Herbert S. Orenstein; daughter of Melvin and Sylvia Corn; loving mother of Richard Essman (Vicki), Barbara Essman and Janet Franz (Paul); devoted grandmother of Elizabeth, Natalie, Adam and Zac; dear sister of Ruth Satz and Eugene Corn (Dale) & many beloved nephews and nieces.

She was a graduate of Soldan H.S., Washington University and Harris-Stowe Teachers college. She was an elementary schoolteacher and co-owner of Herbert's Fine Gifts.

Services: Graveside Service Tuesday, October 15, 1 p.m. at Chesed Shel Emeth Cemetery, 650 White Road. In lieu of flowers, contributions are preferred to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Association and/or Shir Hadash Reconstructionist Community, shirhadashstl.info.
