Thomas Glancy Obituary

Glancy, Thomas Henderson Glancy, Thomas H. 93, of St. Louis, MO passed away peacefully on Monday, September 19, 2016. Tom was the beloved husband to the late Bea (nee: Bernice Czernuszewice) Glancy; beloved husband to the late Beth (nee: Lenihan) Glancy; son to the late James and Margaret Glancy; survived by sister Jean (nee: Glancy) Donnelly; devoted father to the late Mary Margaret Glancy and James Glancy; grandfather to Jill and Thomas; step-father father to Mary and John Mauer, Bill and Cathy Gilmore, Sheri Gilmore and Linda Cecil; step grand-father to Katie, Lizzie, Johnnie, Maggie, Emily and Peter; dear Uncle and friend. Tom attended CBC in St. Louis for high school and Saint Louis University after returning home from World War II where he served as a Marine in the 1st Marine Division. Tom will be remembered by his persevering spirit, unwavering humor, infectious charm and dedication to his loved ones. We will cherish his memories, stories, jokes and camaraderie. May he forever rest in peace. Services: Please join us for funeral services at Our Lady of Life (2nd Floor) at 10:30am on October 8th, 7655 Watson Rd. Please consider honoring Tom by donating to a charity of your choice, in his name, in lieu of flowers. OUR LADY OF LIFE
