We were so sorry to hear of Bud's passing. He was truly a fine man whose family meant the world to him. We always greatly appreciated his outstanding support to a fledgling Oakville Football Program as inexperianced young coaches. Bud will always be remembered fondly. Our prayers and thoughts are with the Leach Family at this difficult time. God Bless, Bob & Jill Robidoux

We were so sorry to hear of Bud's passing and the loss the Leach family is enduring. He was such a fine man with a family that meant everything to him. We always appreciated his solid support to a fledgling Oakville Football Program as young, inexperianced coaches. Bud will be missed and will always be in our thoughts. Our prayers go to the family. God bless, Bob & Jill Robidoux

So sad to hear of the passing of truly one of the kindest and most genuine men that I had the pleasure to know growing up near South Grand in the 60's through 80's. I first met the Leaches through junior league football with Ken and have great memories of times together at Grand and Klocke and later out on Lemay Ferry. As I recall, Bud was a helluva halfback out of McKinley High who played a lot of football in the Navy. Years of life have made me more truly appreciate the life that Bud led after his wife tragically passed. He was such a strong and vibrant person that you weren't surprised that he found his way through the grief with dignity and focused on the task of raising children alone. It's a tribute to the entire Leach family, but particularly to Bud for so gracefully and beautifully dealing with such a tragic loss. My thoughts are with the Leach children and their extensive prodigy per this obituary. Your Dad was one of a kind.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Leach family. "Bionic Bud" was a loving man who succeeded in many things, one of which was raising six beautiful and talented children who gave him many wonderful grandchildren. I will never forget his cute smile and the twinkle in his eyes. Each time I saw him he welcomed me with a warm hug and would say "Hi Beautiful", and my response to him was "Hi Handsome". He is a father and grandfather to be proud of and will be missed by many.
