Deeby Kadrie Obituary
Deeby was born in St. Paul on June 21, 1932 to Jule and Sam Kadrie. She grew up in the Kenwood neighborhood in Minneapolis and was a graduate of West High School. Deeby was a devoted mother to her daughter and a proud loving grandmother and great-grandmother who was affectionately known as "Nanny." She always put family first making everyone feel loved, seen, and supported. Deeby's greatest pride and joy in life was her daughter, whom she considered her most cherished accomplishment. She also had a deep love for animals and her faithful dog Romee was always by her side.
Deeby is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Emnie Kadrie.
Survived by her daughter, Brenda; son-in-law, Brian; grandchildren, Kaitlin (Andrew), Brendan (Callee), and Kristen; great-grandchildren, Penn, Banks, Navy, and Keegan. She is also survived by many loving members of her extended family.
Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 115 Wayzata Blvd W, Wayzata, with visitation one hour prior at church with reception to follow. Private interment.
