Allen Koss Obituary
Allen was born in Warwick, North Dakota to Anton and Velma Koss. He was the youngest of seven, all of whom have preceded him in death. Allen graduated from Devils Lake High School and went on to earn his PHD from the University of North Dakota. His work was very important to him, as well as the people he met through his work. He loved teaching, counseling, and working in the area of mental health for the state of North Dakota. The only thing he loved more than his work was his family. He was married to Marion Van Ryn for fifty-two years. They have two daughters who were his most precious achievement and joy.
Allen is survived by his wife Marion, daughters Amy and Betsy, special friends David and John, and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service 11:00 AM Friday, December 13, 2024 at St. Michaels Catholic Church, Farmington, MN. Visitation one hour prior to service at church. Interment: Austin, MN.
