Cameron Sprung Obituary

Cameron R. Sprung, age 82, of Lakeville, MN, passed away June 26, 2025.

Cameron was born August 10, 1942 in Ada, MN to Clarence and Angie (Seglem) Sprung. He enlisted in the Air Force in September 1960. He married his high school sweetheart, LaVonne (Wasfaret) in November of 1960 just after finishing basic training. He was stationed on the west coast where they began their family. After many years of travel, Cameron retired from the US Air Force in 1983 and retired from his career at Lockheed Martin after 20 years.

In his free time, he enjoyed bicycling, classic car shows, fishing and his grandchildren.

Preceded in death by parents and one brother, Morris (Barbara).

Survived by wife of 64 years, LaVonne (Wasfaret); sons, Stacy, Mark (Anita) and Timothy (Kristine) and daughters, Stephanie (Rich) and Julie; 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren; sisters, Jane (Keith) Wilkening and Betty (Dwight) Gigler.

Visitation from 11AM - 12PM, Friday, July 11th at White Funeral Home in Lakeville, MN with memorial services and luncheon to follow. Interment at Fort Snelling to follow at a later date.
