Mrs. Fay R. Carlin
, 88, of Biloxi, died Wednesday, July 20, 2005 in Biloxi.We are all so sad to have you leave us, but we know that you are back in the arms of Papa, who you have missed so much.
Aunt Fay was born on February 15, 1917 in Biloxi, where she resided all her life. She was known for her and Papa's stuffed crabs where they were made and sold from their home at 409 Maple Street. She was very active with the Church of the Redeemer Ladies Group helping with the fish frys and other dinners.
Aunt Fay was never blessed with her own children, but she had all the love from her nieces and nephews that filled her void with children.
Aunt Fay was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Carlin; her parents, Almour and Julia Aken Rousseau; nephew Kurt Jacquet; three sisters, Gladys Reynolds; Harriet Byrd and Loretta Hall.
Aunt Fay is survived by six nieces, Lois Jacquet and husband Ed of Ocean Springs; Lois Fay Kostmayer and husband Harry of Biloxi; Gloria King and husband Bobby of Ocean Springs; Virginia Moore of Wiggins; Bea Jacquet of Biloxi and Carolyn Holliman of Gulfport; great-nieces and nephews, Cheryl Terry and husband Fizzle and their children, Brandon and Zane; Cherie Broome and husband Barry and their children Kalynn, Michael and Britney; Harry Kostmayer Jr. and his son Garrett; Kevin Kostmayer and wife April and their son Jackson; Misty Lambert and husband Chris and their daughter Tatum; Stephanie Rogers; Tina Holliman and her son Bailey; Heather Gasquet and her husband Jacque; Kurt Jacquet Jr. and his wife Lisa; Heidi Terrell and her husband Chris and their daughter Savannah; Hope Jacquet; Neil Woods and Ellen Hocamp.
Visitation Saturday, July 23, 2005 from 9-10 AM, with a 10 AM chapel service, all at Howard Ave. Chapel, Bradford O'Keefe. Burial will follow in Biloxi City Cemetery.
