Mr. Hollis Rojell Dyess

1934-2018

Biloxi, MS

Mr. Hollis Rojell Dyess, age 83, of Biloxi, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2018.

Mr. Dyess was born in Excel, AL. He came to the Coast in 1957 and owned and operated Railroad Furniture Store in Biloxi for 35 years. He was a member of Gulf Coast Church in Long Beach.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Magnolia Dyess; daughter, Sonya Dyess Fowler; two brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Paleen Dyess of Biloxi; son, Craig Dyess of Biloxi; and sister, Margie Lloyd of Baltimore, MD.

Service will be held Monday, August 27, 2018 at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home at 6:00 p.m. Friends may visit one-hour prior. Graveside service will be on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Excel Cemetery in Alabama.
